Granite

Adult • Male • Large

This young boy was found near an Albuquerque park in early May? He has been living in foster care and doing wonderfully!

Granite arrived at the shelter weighing 63 lbs., just skin and bones. He’s a gentle giant, now weighing 79 lbs. He is neutered and negative for heart worms. He is being fostered with other dogs, horses and goats. Cats are not recommended, as he is interested and tries to chase them. He does well with older children.

Granite does well in the house and is potty trained. He tends to pull a bit on the leash and rides very well in the car. He’s very treat motivated and knows sit, shake, and lay down (when he is motivated enough lol).

This boy was starved and abandoned and needs a special family to allow him time to heal and trust again.

A $300 adoption fee applies. Please go to https://www.dobermanrescuenm.org and complete an application.
