DRNM

Welcome to Doberman Rescue of New Mexico

Thank you for considering adopting or fostering a Doberman through Doberman Rescue of New Mexico. If you are considering adopting, then you will be a critical part of rescue and you’ll get to keep the prize!

We are also always looking for foster homes for our dogs while we try to find them permanent homes. Fostering is a great option if you want to help out but can’t support a Doberman for a long period of time.

Closing intake for new dogs

With heavy hearts, we are temporarily closing our intake for new dogs. We’ve seen a huge influx of surrendered dogs, our foster homes are full, and adoptions have dropped off dramatically. This difficult decision was made to ensure we can provide the highest quality of care for the dogs currently with DRNM.

We know this is difficult news. If you are looking to surrender a Doberman, please contact your local humane society or animal shelter for assistance. We will post an update here as soon as we are able to accept new dogs. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
